FanCode to stream England tour of South Africa 2023 in India


Live content, sports statistics and e-commerce marketplace Fancode, owned by Dream Sports Inc, will live-stream England’s tour of South Africa starting this week. The three-match ODI series will end on February 1. The streaming of all three ODIs will be on the company’s app and website.

The series will be crucial for the hosts as they look to earn direct qualification for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup to be held in India later this year, the company said. All three ODI World Cups are part of the Super League which determines qualification for the marquee tournament. Meanwhile, England will start 2023 on a winning note and prepare for a successful World Cup defence.

As well as streaming this series and more international cricket, such as the two-match Test series between Zimbabwe and the West Indies in early February, the Sporta Technologies Pvt Ltd-owned company will also be streaming the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup and Bangladesh Has been Premier League.

The current ODI and T20 world champions England will be led by Jos Buttler and will feature players like Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Dawid Malan and others. This series will also see the return of all-rounder Joffra Archer after two years of injury. Going to the home ground, South Africa’s pace attack will be led by Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje, while their batting will be led by Temba Bavuma, Quinton de Kock and David Miller.
