Kishan breaks Fakhar Zaman's record

Ishan Kishan was in sublime form on Saturday as he smashed a double hundred against Bangladesh.

Kishan put the Bangladeshi bowlers to the sword as he scored 210 runs to help India win the 3rd ODI.

The 24-year-old also became the fastest to score an ODI double hundred, surpassing Chris Gayle's record.

Kishan also added another interesting record to his name, going past Pakistan's Fakhar Zaman.

The India batter has taken the fewest innings before scoring an ODI double century. Kishan only took 8 innings before reaching the landmark.

Zaman had the earlier record as he only took 16 innings before scoring his double hundred.

The other two on the list are Rohit Sharma and Martin Guptill.

Both men took 102 innings before scoring their maiden ODI double hundred.
