NASCAR at New Hampshire 2022 Results: Christopher Bell Clinches Playoffs with Win

Christopher Bell is heading to the playoffs.

Bell claimed Ambetter 301 in New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday, leaving a playoff bubble in the process.

Chase Elliott finished second, while Bubba Wallace, Martin Truex JR - who won the first two stages

 - and Kevin Harvick completed the top five, in that order.

Bell is the 14th different winner after 20 races in the 2022 season.

And he quickly praised his new PIT crew for victory.

"Everyone in the Pit crew, only our second race works together," he said after the race.

"It's all about the racing team. The driver is just a name on TV and Radio.

It's all about the team. Without them, I'm not anyone."

That might be true, but for the winner, Lobster:

"That is really needed there," Bell added on the NBC broadcast.

"That is an extraordinary race from my perspective.

We all run different lines. That is an explosion."

Even though it is a good vibration for Bell, it doesn't happen to many other drivers.

There is Truex, which dominates the first two stages before falling after the two tire hole. He could not catch up after that.

Then there was a strange confrontation between Austin Dillon and Brad Setowski during his caution

Dillon crashed into Sisowski, and he responded by expelling Dillon from the track:

And Alex Bowman (lap 6) and Corey Lajoie (Lap 90) see their days ending earlier after the accident.

Everything functions as a background of Bell's big victory.

However, don't expect him to be complacent after securing his automatic playoff.

"I feel we can win some of them this year. We finally got it," he said. "Hopefully we have a few more left."
